The Early Warning Remote is a compact mobile remote that constantly communicates with the vehicle tracking unit installed in a customer’s vehicle. This remote ensures the vehicle remains “armed” at all times, even when parked and switched off. If the vehicle is moved without the Early Warning Remote present, an alert is immediately sent to Autotrak’s Customer Response Centre for appropriate action.

Autotrak’s TrailerTrak product has been designed with an internal battery. TrailerTrak’s internal battery needs to be connected to a  power source for approximately 4 consecutive hours to fully charge the unit’s depleted battery. Once a trailer has been disconnected from the horse the TrailerTrak unit will periodically wake up every 8 hours. This indicates that the trailer’s geographical location will only be updated on Autotrak’s web software/Mobile App every 8 hours should the trailer not be connected to power. A fully charged TrailerTrak internal battery that is not connected to power will last approximately 4 months until the battery is completely depleted.

In an operational scenario where a trailer is regularly or permanently connected to a horse users will receive geographical location updates every 30 seconds on Autotrak’s web software/Mobile App when utilising Autotrak’s TrailerTrak product.
