The Early Warning Remote is a compact mobile remote that constantly communicates with the vehicle tracking unit installed in a customer’s vehicle. This remote ensures the vehicle remains “armed” at all times, even when parked and switched off. If the vehicle is moved without the Early Warning Remote present, an alert is immediately sent to Autotrak’s Customer Response Centre for appropriate action.

A versatile, rechargeable GPS/GNSS product that can be utilised for identifying any geographical location. FlexiTrak can function independently or be integrated with other products in Autotrak’s product range for a comprehensive solution.

The Early Warning+ Remotes communicates with the tracking unit installed in your vehicle by pressing the buttons on the remote within proximity of your vehicle (installed with your Autotrak tracking unit)

The Early Warning+ Remote reflects three different button colours. Each button serves a different function.

1. Green Button: The green button is utilised by customers who make use of the Early Warning+ Remotes high-risk optional feature. The high-risk feature requires drivers to authorise a trip before a trip start. Failing to disarm the Autotrak high-risk mode (by pressing the green button) will send an alert to Autotrak’s Customer Response Centre for actioning as soon as the vehicle starts a trip.
2. Blue Button: By pressing a blue button before a trip starts, the trip will be logged as a business trip on Autotrak’s web software.
3. Red Button: By pressing the red button, an alert will be sent to Autotrak’s Customer Response Centre for investigation.

Autotrak’s Signal Jamming Detection system is utilised to detect if a signal jammer is being used. Once a change in frequency is detected Autotrak’s Signal Jamming Detection system will automatically start the
procedure of starving the vehicles fuel pump of fuel, rendering the vehicle immobile (limp mode) Customers can only de- activate the Signal Jamming Detection system by contacting Autotrak’s Customer Response Centre (CRC)

This feature allows the customer to render the vehicle immobile through the Autotrak Customer Response Centre (CRC) For instance, if a customer wishes to immobilize the vehicle over a weekend, ensuring the vehicle cannot be used or in an emergency scenario.

The circuitry is securely wired into the vehicle to prevent the vehicle from starting again once the tracking unit has been forcefully removed in a potential theft scenario. 

This feature enables customers to detect the start and end of a trip without requiring physical vehicle movement.

It activates when the driver/operator engages the vehicle’s ignition within the relevant automotive application.

The functionality is particularly valuable when the telematics device is also connected to the vehicle’s RPM signal, as it provides more accurate monitoring in industries that utilise yellow equipment. In these sectors, operator productivity is typically measured in engine hours rather than distance travelled — unlike standard HCV or LCV vehicles.
