Autotrak’s new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) product offering is designed to enhance driver safety, improve fleet visibility, and support proactive risk management through intelligent driver monitoring and vehicle telematics.
The Standard ADAS product solution comprises of the following hardware components:
- Base Product Selection: Either Alert or Supreme products.
- ADAS Driver- Facing Camera
- Road Facing Camera

- Proactively warns drivers in-cab of distraction-related events, including, but not limited to:
- Driver fatigue and drowsiness.
- Use of cellular devices while driving.
- Removing hands from the steering wheel for a period exceeding a predefined threshold.
- Looking away from the road for a period exceeding a predefined threshold.
- Driver behaviour that results in loss of concentration or attention while operating the vehicle.

- Immediate audible in-cab distraction warnings that encourage driver corrective action before a possible incident occurs.
- Integrated with the customer’s selected product Autotrak Web Software platform and Mobile App (iOS and Android supported), providing a seamless fleet management ecosystem for operators to utilise.
- Hands-free communication functionality allowing drivers to directly contact up to three pre-configured contact points via AutoCom. Automatic event-based voice prompts delivered through AutoCom, providing real-time audible driver notifications for key events, including:
- Trip start
- The vehicle exceeding the maximum speed threshold as configured on the web software
- Stopping within a configured no-stopping area
- Entering a configured high-risk or no-go area
- Possible incident alert notifications
- Driver fatigue warnings, triggered when the driver exceeds the configured continuous driving time or fails to comply with the required rest periods defined within the web software
- Off-route alerts, generated when the vehicle deviates from the predefined route for customers utilising the web software’s waypoint routing functionality
- Detailed distraction event reporting available through the web software platform, enabling fleet operators to:
- Identify repeat offenders.
- Analyse driver behaviour trends.
- Determine when distraction events most frequently occur.
- Identify which vehicles, drivers or divisions are responsible for the highest number of events.
- Implement corrective actions based on factual operational data.
- Driver Identification and Passive Driver Identification reporting, providing visibility as to whether a trip was initiated by an authorised driver or an unauthorised individual.
